Jonathan "Jon" Patrick Van Diver Obituary (1988 - 2023)

Jonathan Patrick "Jon" Van Diver, 34 of Springfield passed away peacefully on March 28, 2023 at his home. He was born July 10, 1988 in Springfield, son of Patrick and Crystal (Palmer) Van Diver. Jon was a very vibrant and creative person who was always a joy to be with. He loved to tie dye clothes, listen to music, watch movies and play video games. He is survived by his parents, Patrick and Crystal Van Diver of Springfield, sister Trista Boehler and husband Alex of Girard, grandfather Richard Palmer of Virden, nieces and nephews Mia, Alexander, Jett and Lucas and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jon was preceded in death by his grandparents Shirley Palmer, William and Rita Van Diver and nephews Kyle and Finn. Private family services will be held at Airsman & Calvert Funeral Home in Virden with burial following at Virden Cemetery.
