Marvin Lendell Turner Obituary (1961 - 2022)

Marvin Lendell Turner, 60 of Virden passed away peacefully March 17, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield. He was born September 22, 1961 in Carlinville son of Lendell E. and Shirley (Sheppard) Turner. Marvin graduated from Virden High School. He loved to draw, write music lyrics and listening to music, especially Lynyrd Skynyrd. He was a great guy and loved to see people laugh. Marvin is survived by his parents Bob and Shirley Lomelino of Virden, son Michael Miller of Springfield, grandchildren, siblings Vincent Turner, Sr. and Mena Morris both of Virden, step brother Lyndall Lomelino, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, March 21, 2022 at Airsman & Calvert Funeral Home in Virden with Reverend Don Durbin officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of services. Memorials are suggested and may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital and will be received by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Homes, Virden who is honored to be caring for Marvin's family.
