Pamela Kay Lange Obituary (1949 - 2021)

Pamela Kay Lange, 71 of Virden passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side Wednesday, June 30, 2021. She was born August 10, 1949 in Springfield daughter of Harold and Cecile (Beard) Mottershaw. She married Robert G. Lange on April 28, 1973 in Virden and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2017. Pam worked for AmerenIL for 30 years and retired. After retirement, she worked for Calvert & Ferry, now Airsman & Calvert Funeral Home, for numerous years. She was a faithful member of Virden United Methodist Church and served on several committees. She loved to travel, shop and spend time with family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Allison Lange of Virden and Brooke Lange of Virden, grandchildren Carson, Audree, Brittnee, Brodee and Caiden. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Airsman & Calvert Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Doane officiating. Burial will follow at Virden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the funeral home. Memorials in her honor are suggested and may be made to the Grand Prairie Of The West Public Library or the Virden United Methodist Church and will be received by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Home in Virden who is honored to be caring for Pam's family.
