Sharon M. Kirby-Lake Obituary (1951 - 2022)

Sharon M. Kirby-Lake, 70 of Virden passed away peacefully at her home on March 17, 2022. She was born October 20, 1951 in Springfield, Illinois daughter of George F. and Mary L. (Woodruff) Kirby. Sharon was a 1969 graduate of Auburn High S chool and was a member of the Virden Nazarene Church. She loved music, especially the Oldies and laughing with friends. She is survived by son Clifford Adams of Nilwood, daughter Heather Adams of Springfield, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Mark (Nancee) Kirby of Auburn, sister Brenda (Ronald) Moore of Brandenburg, KY and sister-in-law Dee Harris of Virden. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Clifford Kirby, Frank Kirby, Jerry Wayne Harris and a grandson. It was Sharon's wishes to have a Celebration of Life gathering at a later date.
