Timothy Alan Elston Obituary (1965 - 2020)

Timothy Alan Elston, 55 of Virden, passed away on Sunday June 28, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born at Fort Campbell, KY on February 15, 1965 to Edward C., Jr., and Ethel Eileen Elston who preceded him in death along with an infant brother, Scott. He married Lori Cox on January 1, 2005 and she survives. He is survived by his children: Kelsey and Shelby Armstrong and Faith and Caleb Elston all of Virden. His siblings: Edward C. Elston III of Virden, Linda (Albert) Boesdorfer of Atwater, Michael Elston of Virden, and Waneta (Tim) Weller of Thayer. His nieces and nephews: Marcie (John) Leonard, Jennifer Castleman, Neil (Danae) Boesdorfer, Sarah Armstrong, Carly Weller, Ruthie Weller, Lilly Morgan-Cox, Joseph Weller, and Haylee Davis. His great nieces and nephews: Brady and Jaxon Castleman, Bella and Collin Etter, and Natalie and Samuel Boesdorfer. Tim was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and loved to watch football and historical documentaries on television. He loved to take his son fishing and camping and supported all of his children's sporting and music events. He worked for CCK Automations in Jacksonville as a mold injection specialist. Visitation will be held Tuesday June 30th from 6pm - 8pm at Airsman-Calvert Funeral Home in Virden, IL. Funeral will be Wednesday July 1st at 10am at Prairie Temple Assembly of God Church in Virden, IL. Private family graveside services immediately following at Virden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the children's college fund would be appreciated. The Airsman-Calvert Funeral Home in Virden is in charge of arrangements.
